It was my idea initially, at least to take a break. Then he started to realize it was probably a good idea too, but it still sucks. I'm hoping we can work things out and do some reflecting, and maybe realize we should keep dating. Who knows. |

Aaaahhh I'm sorry, it was a poorly executed joke! I didn't mean anything mean-spirited or even truthful by it. I wouldn't say anything offensive on purpose to someone I respect very much, but looks like I had a lapse in judgement there. I know full well that you are both a good mother and still a complete, rational person. I don't actually believe that new parents only see the world through parents' eyes. Though I suppose saying what I said may be similar to implying that females only get angry when they're menstruating, and not because they have another reason to be angry. It always pisses me off to hear people even joke about that, so I humbly bow and apologize for having offended you. |
