Click for profile 		So...I'm leaving for Italy in a week. I have lots of feelings, but that's boring.

I'm going to be there for 4 months and at some point I'm going to hopefully travel around Europe. I don't have much else to say about it, but it's a big deal, and I thought it should have its own thread instead of a what's on your mind post.

Click for profile 		I'm living in Rome, but we get to go on "class" trips around Italy, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to explore Europe for spring break. I'll update on that as I make plans, especially if I go to England.

Click for profile 		You'll have a super time. Watch out for southern European dudes though. They're intense. When I was in France I would get followed by hordes of men after literally just smiling slightly at them as I passed by them on the street... smiling at strangers!!! which is just a little thing people automatically do in Canada but which I quickly learned in Paris was a sexual invitation, even in the daytime on a public street...

In other news, my suitcase is half full. I have shoes, coats, and meds. Whoops.

Not because I suck at packing though. I put the one I was packing last night on the scale, and it weighed 30 pounds empty. So today I went and got a bigger suitcase that weighs 20 pounds less. Now I'm really surprised at how few clothes/essential it takes to hit 50 lbs.

Saying goodbye to my boyfriend was just so hard, oh my god. I can't imagine even being one of those couples that goes "on break" for study abroad. I couldn't handle that.
