Click for profile 		I (insert several expletives) love halloween. Currently there are several days worth of celebrations planned so I get to have a bunch of costumes. I have Western date night on the 29th so that's pretty cowboy/flannelrific, i think i might throw a party the night before and go as one of the contestants from Legends of the Hidden Temple (with my roomie as my team mate), then the following weekend I'll be Batgirl to my buddie's Nightwing for his birthday. And maybe I'll dress up as something fairly mobile on the actual day of. I'm thinking MK&A circa I'm the Cute One.

Click for profile 		What's STUMP? That all sounds like a fantastic time. I don't have plans yet, or a costume...was browing on a website a minute ago, thinking maybe along the lines of Mad Hatter.

Two years ago I went as a ref, and I thought "How originl am I!" and it was probably the first year I was stoked to be me and didn't bitch that I looked awful in an off-the-wall costume. As I told my friend these thoughts, literally, 8 girls all dressed like refs walked by across the street. Didn't let it get to me.

Click for profile 		I always dress up, especially because I work with kids. With that in mind, my costumes have to be kid appropriate (not that I've ever been the type of person who would go the slutty nurse/pirate/apple route). What I really want to be this year is Carmen Sandiego, but the kids I work with are way too young to get that reference. So I'm trying to come up with something else. If I had any artistic ability, I'd try and make a pumpkin suit with the pi symbol in it (which again, the kids would never get, but sometimes my own amusement supercedes all)

Click for profile 		Stump is a drinking game in which you have a tree stump in someone's backyard, preferably accompanied by a bonfire. Everyone playing taps a nail into the top of the stump, and finally a "social" nail is added. When it's your turn, you have to hold your drink in your left hand and throw a hammer in the air to complete a full 360 rotation, catch it in the air and simultaneously bring it down on a nail. It's really tricky, and painful when you mess up. Whoever's nail you hit has to drink, proportionate to the amount of damage done to the nail. Once your nail is hit all the way into the stump, or bent completely over, you're out. If you hit the social nail, everyone drinks.

Sometimes they light the stump on fire. Adds an element of danger.

Click for profile 		With the amount the people I know drink, this sounds like a game bound for the ER. Sounds fun as hell! if I were sober...yes. Hitting nails whilst sober and tossing a hammer sounds like fun to me. But drunken..I'm a clod.. I'd totally stab myself between a hammer and a nail head.

Click for profile 		I'm going to be an octopus! (no, not a slutty octopus.) I personally hate when people choose costumes that have to be described with the term "slutty|" in front of them. If you want to show off your assets, fine, just pick a costume that does so. Like beerwench. Or go as a shark attack victim and wear a bikini, with a toyshark attached to your leg.

My roommates are having a small party. So my extra arms shouldn't get in the way too much!

Click for profile 		That's an awesome costume, are you making/assembling it or are you getting it from a store? I'd totally make your hair like tenticales too, if you can. I donno, my friend went as medusa last year and did that with her hair, like coils and snakes. I really like the shark attack victim, Adds humor to it! Two years ago, my friend threw a party and there was this guy, going around dressed with blonde hair, a shirt that said MTV Made, a mini skirt, and heels. He would go "Ask me what I am?" and so I went "What are you." That caused him to fake start crying and saying "I'm pregnant! Thank you so much for bringing that up...blah blah blah" It was his-taaarical.
