Click for profile 		Stuff like thta may not have impacted you guys much, but (personal anecdote time) there was a kid in my elementary school whose father used to lock him in a small room with nothing but horror movies on.
Fucked the kid up bad, couldn't tell real life from fiction. He was really violent, and often told my mom (who was a volunteer at the school) that he was going to jump in front of a speeding car and come back to life.

I know that's extreme over-exposure to such things but still, in can impact a child's life to watch and read things meant for adults.

I think as long as things are explained it could be fine... if it's exposure at a slight level.

Click for profile 		I have a male friend who even now at 22cannot sleep from watching horror movies. He only learned this when his older brothers showed him horros movies when he was younger. It's not a huge deal, but it meant quite a few sleepless nights and anxiety on his part.

They key I would say is just making sure a kid can handle it, and talking to them anout it.
