I have mean things to say about them (those type of people) like - most pettines come from a gaint gaping whole of feeling unloved in themselves. Seriously, being around people who are happy - there's way less of that crap. It's unhappy people that want to make others seem smaller so they can feel a little better.

I love how that hairstyle can go super sweet with berets and headbands, but also pretty edgy with some gel. Not that she needs to look edgy. I'm just jelous she can get that cut.

That's one of the shortcomings of pixie cuts, when you style it right it's awesome, when you style it wrong it's real bad.

Even if you had a somewhat rough childhood, it still feels like your family put a lot into you at some point, and as such some people feel that they owe them something. Not obviously, based on the situation you may not owe them anything at all, but most people will feel that they do.
