He said that no Americans were killed, and then went on to say that "great care" or something was taken to ensure the lives of civilians. Makes me think some innocent people died, which kind of deadens the relief of Osama being dead, a bit. Still though, although it might be illogical, I feel a bit safer knowing he's permanently KO'd.

(169k) Loved Spank! UltraStar	It's about time that he was brought to justice. I'm kind of wondering what it means for the situation in the Middle East as well. Specifically if there is going to be any backlash from what's left of Al-Qaeda or another terrorist organization. I believe that he's dead for the most part. They also said that he was killed in 2001 I believe. This time though, they say that they have the body and are more confident about it. Hate to sound morbid though, some are never really going to believe until they see a body. Also, it seems as if they plan to bury him soon and he will be buried at sea? Hmmm Any way though it's about damn time it happened. Now lets get to merkin' those gas prices.

I believe he was burried at sea because they didn't think any country would want to give him a proper burial. I agree that this really doesn't mean the end of terrorism, but it really is a confidence boost to troops who've spent years trying to locate him and bring justice to the families of victims of the World Trade Centre attack. It also will likely add some fear to the higher ups in Al-Qaeda. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

(169k) Loved Spank! UltraStar	Ofcourse I know it has to do with Libya. The scuffles with Gadaffi(?) have spiked fear that the availabilty of oil will drop dramatically. So in turn the price per barrel of oil has risen markedly. But i thoght they only contributed about 2 percent of the worlds supply? Or is just the supply to the U.S. ? I was just suggesting we should find a quick solution to the conflict, which I know most likely will not happen. I agree that it is a huge confidence boost and a much needed one.

No he was getting shit about going against the real problem. Achmed Ahmadinejad. Thats half of why this doesn't feel like a victory as it would have in 2002. The world has changed. Bin Laden doesn't lead al-queda anymore, he was found in an Ally's country and Iran's the bigger threat.
