Click for profile 		Ugh, my French is nowhere near perfect but, it pisses me off when people on Facebook (which i really just use for amusement and to stay in touch with a few people) post status in French that you can OBVIOUSLY tell are from an internet translator. It's like wow....I just wasted time reading that piece of crap. If you're going to write or speak in another language at lease be somewhat coherent.

Bitching done. haha

Click for profile 		This is a great big LE SIGH. Things can't always go the way we want them to, no, no they can't.

Allow me to elaborate and say that my work was presumably (I did not receive a notification e-mail) not accepted to the biennial for the local art museum. This sucks, I must say, but sometimes I forget that my artwork, though it isn't exactly SHOCKING, isn't always appropriate for public venues I suppose. Also, I can't expect to get into everything, but it gets downright frustrating spending a ton of money on entry fees all for naught.

I think it's important that I continue to make work that I am invested in, and to remember that I'm only 23; it takes a lot of people a lot of time to become really accomplished artists, and I'm doing just fine anyway. Who wants to totally blow your load at a young age and have nothing to look forward to, right?

I'm at a strange place in life right now, I think.
