Click for profile 		I know. Sigh. I know. I was just having major panic about everything with the baby and it was making it worse.
He was actually being more considerate than I thought and had been trying to text me all day but he never got more than one bar.

I had my sister stay with me today/tonight so I could feel a little calmer. And when mom came to drop her they helped me tons around the house so I am feeling a little better. Hopefully I will actually sleep tonight. Smile

Click for profile 		I just got the best summer job ever!! I am getting paid to teach kids how to craft things. I'm also getting paid to learn how to throw on a pottery wheel. I have wanted this job for a YEAR which is when I discovered that A) it existed and B) I am moderately qualified for it. I was more excited for this envelope than my college acceptance ones.

I am not the most outwardly joyful person and I am currently flailing in giddiness.

Click for profile 		Duuuuude, I am sooo relieved. So we went to the follow up appointment to check on the babies heart and it went perfect.
What started as "something on the babies heart" turned out to be a bright spot of dense tissue that is sometimes associated with Downs. Of course when the tech told me that I freaked out even more.
Then the doctor came in and said that I absolutely had nothing to worry about. The baby is completely fine, there are NO other markers for downs and I have no risk factors either.

Sigh. So Nugget is perfectly fine.

I'm telling you, ghosting is the way to get kicked out of class. But so very sexy/funny, depending on who you're ghosting. Pottery is pretty fun, I took a class when I was a kid, and although I have no talent so all my stuff looked terrible, it was a blast.

I would be up for meeting in the middle but I can't ask a lady with a baby to drive to the middle of the state so I can meet an internet stranger. Funnily enough if she were sans baby I would have no problem doing it, I just wouldn't want to make her have to prepare for a serious baby traveling operation for no gain.

But if you want to come to us we can go to St. Louis and get shitfaced and take pictures and post them on spank as the most epic IRL meeting ever.

Awesome about the crafting job, that reminds me of my brother's girlfriend who gets go live at a national state park and be paid to live there and tour guide and take care of animals...yay. I've had too much coffee this morning, pardon run ons or scattered thought.

Click for profile 		As far as I can tell, my mother thinks I'm a terrible person because I don't answer the landline and because I haven't been sociable with anyone recently. Because somehow this is personal. I don't even have caller ID.
I'm not supposed to go to the shops (a mile through the woods each way) on my own because it's "not safe." Dad's not in the same county as us at the moment. I've got to manage food for my brother and myself, and he's fussy about that in the first place, and apparently it's selfish of me to ask if she's able to provide transport to the shop. She lives five minutes away by car, so I can understand how that would be a terrible imposition, but obviously it's all my fault because I haven't felt like going to the session lately.
