Click for profile 		I've just finished going through my jewellery collection, cannibalising things I never wear for parts... and I've tweaked my treble clef bracelet to include a couple of beads and fewer spiky bits.
There may be more tweaking later.

Click for profile 		I've been spending a lot of time conversing with other life-rs.... People who are focused on being as present as possible and removing any filters from the past and living life as much as possible in the way that we were meant to be living.

I know how hard it is to not see it as idealistic, until you are living like that as well. Most people never give themselves the time to enjoy life Sad! Always working for the future.



That being said, what's on my mind is that I really need a job ;)

Yeah, I agree, I was actually just having a conversation yesterday about how my entire life thusfar has been spent sacrificing my life at the moment and my ability to enjoy it so that I can work toward the next step of my life. I would say this is the first time in my life that I'm not, because I don't know what I'll do when I graduate here, but honestly I'm spending all my time right now worrying and working toward starting my thesis. So not really living in the moment at all.

Click for profile 		So my husband is on a ski trip with his work buddies and he is unreachable and I am pissed. He said he would call this morning and he didn't. I got a call from the perinatal people saying they saw something wrong with the heart on the anatomy scan yesterday and I am stressing out and he is not answering his phone.
He did not give me anyone else number and has yet to check in.
I hate how irresponsible he is when he goes on trips. It makes me want to be a bitch of a wife and tell him I don't want him going anymore because he pulls this shit every time.


When I went to NYC for a long weekend last summer I checked in. I texted or called or something just to stay connected but he thinks it is all cool to just go awol for an entire day when he said he would call.

GAH I am sure I am blowing this up because I am freaking about the phone call but still, I am fucking pregnant, any shit could go down and he would have no clue because he is too busy hanging out with a bunch of assholes that hate their wives.

Every time I try to call him and it goes right to voice mail I get more and more angry.

Click for profile 		I work away from home alot. It is hard to remember to check in. I work all day, network all evening and then it's gone midnight and I don't want to disturb the mrs who's probably asleep.

I know skiing and drinking are different to work and yes he should be taking more note seeing as you are pregnant but I'm sure it's just that typical, male absent mindedness.

Give him a wee kick up the arse when he gets home but don't stress it. It tells me he sees you as strong enough to handle things and trusts that you will be able to. If he worried or didn't respect you you'd be on his mind all the time.

It's not going to help you get in touch with him any sooner, but it will make it incredibly unpleasant in the meantime, while he's probably enjoying himself. May as well enjoy your time to yourself as much as possible instead of making it worse Smile
