Click for profile 		So, with all these advances in technology, how do you guys meet new people friends or otherwise? Has anyone tried internet dating?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm curious. Usually I meet people through other friends, but I dont go out much with school and work. I have tried the internet dating thing,but the only responses I get are from people twice my age.

Friends of friends, work and such have been good to me lately but if you don't have time to go out this becomes problematic. You should try to go out more. I'm SO busy (like 16-20 hour days) and the only thing that keeps me sane half the time is going out once or twice on the weekend.

Click for profile 		I love pubs, but a lot of my friends love the clubs. The only person that likes pubs that I know of is my brother haha. Well...a few of my guy friends as well.

Also, I don't like to go alone. is that even kosher (for lack of a better term)?

Click for profile 		I love clubs. I don't meet people there, though. Pretty much ever. I don't have that look, I guess?
But I kind of adore the way too loud music, drinking shots and dancing like a fool on a crowded dance floor. Something about how many people are there gives me a sense of anonymity that lets me really bust a move, with my friends. All my friends always meet people, when we're out though. So I guess it is an option.

I find going to parties where you only really know a couple people is a great way to meet people. You sort of hae to talk to everyone, and amuse yourself.

Click for profile 		My girlfriend's mother is getting married from someone she met on a dating website. A friend reckons on different sites for different things like hookups or relationships. He's an obnoxious saffer so if he has successes then you have no problem!

Click for profile 		I've tried dating websites and I just can't do it. I don't know why, I find it hard to connect with/understand people. I don't find it hard to connect with people on Spank! (possibly because its a different environment??) I was just lucky when I met Tyler haha.

I don't know. I'm trying to be more social and stuff, but I'm a bit of a loner by nature, and I don't always feel I fit in, but I'm trying.
I went out the other night and I must have looked really sad because one guy kept telling me to smile.

Aren't you in a sorority? If you are, you can maybe offer to help host an event that by nature requires people to talk to people they don't know, that way, if you're feeling shy or uncomfortable, you already have a reason to talk to people. I find when there is a predetermined topic, talking to and meeting strangers gets a lot easier.
