The police in my parents' town has gone absolutely crackers. They are now issuing 'positive tickets' to 'young people to reinforce the idea that obeying the law is a good thing.'

The whole article is pretty much gold. Must read. Not that long.

It might even make the cops less cranky if instead of look for traffic violators ALL FREAKING DAY they can be watching for responsible little kids.

He gave me a nice sticker for wearing my helmet. I was so thrilled!
