A couple of weeks ago I just happened to win this amazing raffle prize. About twenty minutes before I was to meet the person (a stranger to me) who was supposed to give it to me, I realized I was running late so I called her and told her I'd be a few minutes late. I was and when I got there she was sitting working on her laptop. I apologized for being late, thanked her for the cool prize, and wished her club good luck. With a totally hateful look on her face she grabbed the bag, shoved it towards me, said "Congratulations" in a really sneering, sarcastic tone and looked back down at her computer. I was frazzled so I just took the bag and walked away. Inside was what was expected -- movie theatre tickets, tickets to a bunch of tourist attractions around here, certificate for free tae kwon do lessons, and a bunch more awesome radness that I am so shocked my $2 ticket could bring. There was also a plastic tape dispenser, a roll of saran wrap which had obviously just been used to contain a sandwich or other edible something, random sheets of blank and coloured paper, empty plastic bags, and best of all, a (luckily unused) single tampon.
At first, rummaging through this stuff, I thought that somebody involved must have mistaken this bag for another one and had just accidentally dumped their random crap in there but the tampon made me think this girl was nuts and had decided to be weirdly spiteful for some reason.

so. crazy girl overreacting to my lateness? or what?

I don't really care one way or the other, I'm gratetul to have gotten such a wicked prize, and I think it was probably just a bit of a mistake on someone's part to put that other weird stuff in there, although that girl's hateful attitude towards me and the tampon makes me wonder Razz

but! i wone £20 in scotland for winning a heads or tails tournament at a ceilidh! yay!

Click for profile 		Ugh, when I was in the Army this girl had a used Tampon in her inspection locker (in a Tesco carrier bag lol) oh my geez, it fucking hummed to high heaven. *heave* that smell I will never forget it. Rotten. Goodness knows how long it had been there, but she was a right dirty minger.

Beth, if I were you I'd take the money he gave so far, sell the necklace for more money, and just leave it at that. Frikkin' awesome!
