Click for profile 		So this Saturday my favourite ever Ska band Bombskare is returning to a local live music bar and I'm fucking stoked, but it seems like a lot of my friends seem to shit all over ska ("you mean bands like Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish? Yeah I was into them when I was 14, they suck now").

It makes my soul bleed. Ska music is so fun! You can dance around like a moron and...gah I just cant wait to do it again.

Does anyone else like ska or am I all alone in my sentiments here?

Click for profile 		i wouldn't say i'm a huuuge ska fan, but i really really like dancing to it. similarly with reggae, i don't listen to it a huge amount when at home or whatever, but it's one of my very favourite genres to dance to.

Click for profile 		by ska, i'm thinking more of old-school ska, the kind that is closer to reggae than errr punk rock. i think that perhaps most people's definition is more Less Than Jake than The specials? the latter and earlier stuff is what i'm talking about, that stuff is ooooh nice. can't say i've ever danced to less than jake.

Click for profile 		I used to love ska. But not as a solitary music form. I mean, I've never met anyone, when I've asked which is your favourite type of music, which has said Ska. It's always in a sentence " I like Reggae, ska, punk, etc."
