Inactive I'm not a very experienced dater, per se. Skip this paragraph if you know the deal or don't care about my general history. Y'see, anyone who knows me fer shit knows that Brian, who broke up with me in March, was my longest boyfriend (6 months) and I was totally in love with him, and we got together in a nerdy and roundabout manner. We kinda started making out at one point and then, a few days later, I said, "Er, so, what are we?" and he said, "Um, er, what do you want it to be?" and I said, "Um, well, the girl-friend boyfriend thing ain't to shabby, I hear." I SHIT YOU NOT, I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP, THAT"S WHAT HAPPENED. And I've NEVER been on a "DATE" with someone whom I wasn't already in a very comfortable relationship with. Meaning Brian.

So, all that said, I have a date Friday night, after work, at 9 PM. I'm 19, he's 21 (I think?) and he's REALLY cute and interesting and I kinda wanna do him BUT NOT JUST YET. So. I dunno. We are in inner Boston, we would meet up sometime after 9 when I get off work, the T runs 'til 12:30, buuuut . . . what should we do? I get the feeling we're both quirky enough to not want to do a silly food / movie thing, but . . . movie is all I'm really coming up with. That or go to the beach, which is 1. sketchy and 2. gross but could be 3. romantic.

Also, any pointers I should think of? I will avoid talking about ex, promise. Anything else?

Help?

That said . . . maybe rent a movie, go to his place, order in chinese, pillow fight, make out? I'm kind of intent on the last one, but I will NEVER EVER MAKE THE FIRST MOVE to kiss someone else. Never ever. Soooooo . . . yeah. How do I make him want to kiss me?

Inactive Thank you, sir. Hot. Hot but not slutty. I can totally do that. Round his place is good . . . I don't wanna sex him just yet (correction: I wanna, but in the interest of future actual connection, I won't) but I fear the connotation of "let's go back to my place."

And I think chinese food smells downright delectable, and we'll both smell like it anyway, so it's all good.

If the coffee is going good, you can always stretch it out to a movie. If not, you just have your coffee and go home. Granted that going for coffee is more of a daytime date thing. Anyway I wish you the best of luck! Hope it all works out for you Smile
