Click for profile 		Hrm, just wondering how many of you have a tattoo, and was wondering how bad is it gonna hurt to get a tat about the size of my hand on my claf, because im gonna get one there, i just dont know how bad its gonna hurt.....its not like i care because im getting it anyways.. but im just curious.

Click for profile 		I have one on my lower back which is highly unoriginal. It's just a celtic design also highly unorginal. Don't kid yourself though it hurts like a bitch, but you get over it after the umpteenth time of the needle poking you. It might hurt more in the calf because it's mostly muscle there, it also depends on how big the tattoo is gonna be. But don't go in thinking it won't be that bad, cause it is that bad.

Click for profile 		I've got huge tats on both arms that start at the shoulders & creep down my arm down to my elbows.(1 taken from the book of Kells & the other freehand drawn from my badass tattoo artist) If you've got a high tolerance for pain as do I, you've got nothing to worry about. From the get go don't even think about it & don't anticipate how painful it might be. Concentrate on some funky object that the tattoo artist most likely has hanging on his/her wall. After the first few minutes & millions of pokes, you'll notice yourself drifting off in a meditative type state. It's no big deal. I consider the antiseptic spray @ the end or in between to clean off excess ink or blood more painful than the actual tattoo.

But the reds I'm sure of--that Detroit one nearly killed me. Fuck. Ow. Still hurts thinking of it almost a year later.

Yeah, yellow & white are the worst, but red ain't purdy. Then again, it all depends where, as well--the wing on my side would have been less painful elsewhere, no doubt. But still, red hurts, regardless.
